Manny is a Certified Pool Operator and separately Residential Chemistry Certified. In 2024 he published Mastering Pool Chemistry for Beginners and Pool Techs — a guide to the five chemicals that do the real work in a pool, written for owners and for techs starting out.
His argument is simple and he makes it often: the person deciding what chemicals go into your pool is making a decision about the water your family swims in. That should not be someone who tests two things and leaves.

Why the report matters
Every visit ends with a photo and an email listing the readings and the chemicals added. Customers mention it more than anything else.
It is a small thing that changes the relationship. You are not taking anyone's word that the pool was serviced, or guessing what went into it. You can see the numbers move week to week, and if something is drifting you find out from the report rather than from a green pool on a Saturday morning.
It also means that when a repair is needed, there is a paper trail behind the recommendation instead of a verdict delivered in the driveway.
